When you shop at BESTFed, you get the BEST service and the BEST products. Your business is keeping a Mom and baby together who might otherwise be separated while Mom works. Our staff of breastfeeding mothers may bring their baby to work. We are grateful for your business that gives us this opportunity! Community Service Many companies feel the importance of supporting the community they do business in. Smaller companies like BESTFed have fewer financial resources, but we all can still make meaningful contributions. Here is how BESTFed contributed this year. |

Casa Linda Several years ago we began collecting your gently used baby and maternity items for The Casa Linda teen pregnancy shelter. What a great response we have had. From fully stocked diaper bags with inspirational notes tucked inside, to packages of diapers and much needed bassinets. We have collected your donations and taken them to the shelter where each item is fully appreciated. Thank you for all your generosity. Please remember the drop off basket at BESTFed when you no longer need maternity, breastfeeding, or baby items. They can make all the difference for someone else! Walk for Kids
Team BESTFed is in
action to participate in the Dave Pratt Walk for Kids on December 14th.
This is an event that raises money for the Dave Pratt Dental Clinic through
the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix.
The Dave
Pratt Dental Clinic provides full service dental care to children who could
not afford proper dental care. If you would wish to sponsor the team please
mail a check (Made out to Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix) to the
Phoenix store or drop off your donation at either
BESTFed location. Our goal is to have 10 team members and to raise at least
$1015.00 for the kids. NEW! @ BESTFed The Deluxe Hugster This fantastic Nursing Pillow is a specially researched and designed pillow featuring patented fastener support. 100% hypo-allergenic polyester. Hand wash and dry. Fits larger sizes too. |
Phoenix Developing Families Center The Phoenix Developing Families Center recently held their First Annual Fundraising Dinner. Our Phoenix office Manager, Janet P. Hollett volunteered on the Event Committee. Together with Jeanne Wilson, the Phoenix assistant manager, they worked the check in/out station the night of the event. The BESTFed vendors were very generous with donations, including Medela, Hollister, Pediam, Burt’s Bees and others. We were proud to be part of this exciting event. We look forward to the building of this non-profit birthing center. For more information, check out their website: www.cradlingthefuture.com
Last but not least…information Many of you may not know that BESTFed stands for:
Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding Education is a high priority to us at BESTFed. We have developed and provide brochures about breastfeeding free of charge to any health care facilities that request them. Midwives, nurses, childbirth and breastfeeding educators, hospitals and doctor’s offices use our literature. This is a community service that we feel is important since so much of the information about breastfeeding readily available from the medical community comes from the formula companies. Many in the service of breastfeeding families see this as a conflict since the formula company makes more money if breastfeeding fails. Our company wants you to succeed with your breastfeeding goal even if you never become our customer! Formula Recall # |
